Once we have received your booking fee, a completed copy of your booking form and a signed copy of our terms and conditions your wedding date is secured – congratulations!!!

Below you can find some of our frequently asked wedding questions.

  • What is the payment procedure for my wedding?

    You will have paid a non-refundable booking fee of £1000 to secure your wedding date.

    We will require final numbers and menu choices 20 working days before your wedding at which time your final invoice will be drawn up. Full payment for your wedding is required in our account 15 working days before your wedding date.

  • Do your prices include VAT?

    All our prices are inclusive of VAT

  • What is my cancellation policy?

    Full details of our cancellation policy can be found in our terms and conditions completed at the time of booking.

  • Do you recommend insurance for our wedding?

    Yes, we do recommend you take out wedding insurance. This not only covers your venue, but outside suppliers too.

  • Is Limepark licensed to carry out civil ceremonies?

    Yes, Limepark is fully licensed to perform civil marriages and partnerships on our Chamomile Lawn or Gallery. Your registrar will come from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, and it is up to you to arrange your ceremony with them. Limepark do however provide forms to initiate this process.

    If you would prefer, we are also licensed for religious, humanist and spiritualist ceremonies.

  • How long is a Civil Ceremony?

    A civil ceremony only takes approximately 20 minutes; however, couples can lengthen their service with a poem, readings, or special music.

  • How many seats can the Gallery hold for ceremony?

    We can seat 90 in the Gallery for ceremony, if you would prefer not to have guests seated behind the partitioning wall we can seat 70 guests. For larger ceremonies we would recommend our Chamomile Lawn.

  • What is included in the venue hire of Limepark?

  • Do you have anywhere for wedding photography to be taken?

    We have many areas for your photographer to use. The farmstead sprawls over three acres of land, comprising of formal lawns, cobbled laneways, old stone
    buildings, a wildflower garden and enchanting bluebell lane. You will be spoilt for choice in terms of locations with plentiful variety all in one place.

  • Is there a minimum number to book your wedding at Limepark?

    There is a minimum requirement of 70 adult guests for a Friday or Saturday weddings, this excludes children and vendors. We can accommodate weddings as small as 20 adult guests any other day of the week.

  • How many can you accommodate?

    We are licensed to host events for up to 114 guests in the barn. On our rustic long tables we can fit a maximum of 26 guests per row including children and babies in highchairs.

  • How would a typical wedding run at Limepark with timings?

    If having your ceremony onsite we would recommend a 2pm ceremony time. However if you are planning something different, we will tailor a timeline to suit your wishes.

  • Can I arrange to get ready at Limepark?

    Yes, you may get ready at Limepark. However, this will depend on whether we have a wedding the day before. Please arrange this with our Wedding Planner.

  • What time does the entertainment need to be finished in the evening?

    All entertainment must finish at 1am and the barn vacated by 1.30am.

  • Can cars be left at Limepark overnight?

    Yes, cars can be left overnight, but they must be collected by 10am the following day. Limepark does not accept any responsibility for loss or damages. Cars left overnight are left at the owner’s risk.

  • What staff will be on hand for my wedding day?

    A dedicated team will be present on the day of your wedding. This will include a management team, an MC and a host to look after your guests. Catering and bar staff will be brought in relative to your guest numbers.

  • Do you provide a Master of Ceremonies?

    Yes, we provide a Master of Ceremonies along with a wireless mic for speeches in the barn.

  • When can we set up the barn?

    If the barn is not in use the day before your wedding, you will have access to set up the barn with your personal items strictly between 11am – 2pm. Should we have a wedding or event taking place the previous day, we will arrange for you to deliver your items to Limepark beforehand. Our trained staff will then place your personal items out on the morning of your wedding as per your instructions.

  • Do we have to pack up our personal items at the end of the night?

    When clearing the room at the end of the night our bar team will place anything not belonging to Limepark at the side of the room. These need to be removed the following morning before 11am either by yourselves or the vendors you had booked.

  • What size are your tables?

    All of our guest tables are hand made using reclaimed wood and are set up for banquet style dining. Three tables are joined to create each length, seating a maximum of 26 guests per length including children and babies in highchairs.

    Separated two of the tables are 270cm in length. The shorter mid sections are 160cm in length and all three are 88 cm in width. Combined they are 7m in length.

    Our bespoke top table is made in the same style of wood as your guest tables and measures 540cm in length and 66cm in width. This is a complete piece of wood and cannot be split or made smaller, nor can you add to it to make it longer. The top table seats 10 people on one side.

  • Do you have highchairs available?

    Yes, we have four highchairs available for your ‘little’ guests

  • Is the barn heated?

    Yes, we use radiant panel heaters, which are attached to the Belfast Trusses.

  • Can you play our own music?

    Of course, you can play your own music during dinner. Couples generally create a personalised playlist; however, we can play ours if required. Any music provided must be downloaded on an iPad or phone with the ability to connect to an AUX lead. For anything louder than background music you will need to hire in your own speakers/DJ i.e. for your end of evening entertainment.

    We have two, portable bluetooth speakers which we are happy for you to use in the Gallery or outdoors for ceremony or drinks reception. You must however allocate a family member or a member of your bridal party to play this for you.

  • Is there car parking on-site?

    Our newly renovated car park can now hold a maximum of 55 cars plus a coach.

  • Is smoking allowed?

    In line with the Smoking Regulations, smoking is not permitted in the barn, gallery or in any of the cottages. Smoking is permitted outside at designated areas and these rules extend to vapes also.

  • Are pets permitted at Limepark?

    Dogs are welcome to stay in the Limepark’s cottages, but they must be house trained and not be left unattended outside of a cage inside any cottage. Dogs are not permitted on the sofas, furniture or beds. The Main Manor House is not dog friendly.

    Speak to your wedding planner about any other pets you may wish to bring along – believe it or not we’ve had cows and horses attend weddings at Limepark before!

  • What is the nearest transport: airports / railways stations to Limepark?

    Ballymoney is the nearest train station to Limepark (15 mins away) there are also regular bus services to our neighbouring town of Ballycastle.
    The nearest Airport is Belfast International.

  • Can you provide directions?

    Limepark can be easily found on Goggle Maps. Please ensure guests search for Limepark Armoy as there is a housing estate also called Limepark 20minutes away.

  • Can you help with recommendations for DJ’s, Bands, Florists, Photographers etc?

    Yes, we have a trusted suppliers list of outside providers that we would recommend. If you haven’t already received it please ask your wedding planner.

    When booking these outside providers, please ensure they have current and adequate Public Liability insurance in place at the time of your wedding, which must be submitted to Limepark in advance of your wedding.

  • Can you recommend any local accommodation for our guests?

    Of course, we are here to help. We can recommend several lovely hotels or B&B’s, again these can be found on the trusted suppliers list.

  • Are we allowed to have Fireworks at Limepark?

    Unfortunately, due to the farm and livestock in close proximity to Limepark fireworks are not permitted.

  • Do you allow lawn games or outside entertainment?

    Yes, lawn games are very popular at Limepark and are great for getting guests to mingle. We have our own handmade set of six Garden Games that are perfectly in keeping with the estate. Should you wish to add them on to your booking simply let your wedding planner know.

    Bouncy castles, Ice-Cream carts and photo booths are also permitted at Limepark in designated areas. However please notify your wedding planner before booking so we can ensure there is space to accommodate them.

  • Can we arrange coaches?

    Yes, of course you may arrange coaches. We have a few recommended companies that feature on our trusted supplier list.

  • Are there limitations when decorating the barn?

    We use radiant panel heaters, which are attached to the Belfast Trusses. We ask for décor to be kept 1 metre away from the heaters and sprayed with fire retardant spray. You can decide to not use the heating, in which case there are no limitations.

    Fireworks, balloon releases and Chinese lanterns are not permitted. We do ask you to run your ideas past a member of Limepark staff before you begin planning.

    We expect the venue to be left as it was found. Please check that the use of sticky tape, pins etc. doesn’t damage the furniture or venue features.

  • Do you allow candles to be lit in the Barn and Gallery?

    Yes, candles are allowed if they are contained in a vase or lantern and are not a fire risk.

  • Do you allow Confetti to be thrown at the Venue?

    The use of confetti is restricted and cannot be used on the cobble stones or on gravel paths. We only permit biodegradable confetti, and this must be used on the grass or inside areas.

  • Can I have coloured tablecloths or napkins?

    Our beautifully restored tables don’t require tablecloths, but should you wish to have some, you are welcome to bring your own or organise this through one of our lovely recommended décor suppliers.

    We provide natural coloured, linen napkins. If you would prefer a different colour you can again bring your own.

  • Do you have accommodation on site?

    Yes we can accommodate 28 guests onsite. 10 of these guests can be stay within the included package accommodation of the Main Manor House (sleeps 8) and Ned’s Loft (sleeps 2).

    In addition we have five beautifully restored cottages which vary in size. Please see our cottage guide for guidance on size and location.

  • What time is accommodation Check-in/Check-out?

    Guests may check in during arrival drinks, but not before 3pm. Check out time is strictly 11am.

  • Are towels available in the rooms?

    Yes, towels are available in all rooms. Hairdryers and irons/steamers are available on request.

  • Are there camp beds or cots available?

    Yes, we have 3 camp beds and 2 cots you are welcome to use. If you wish to use this for an additional adult there will be a charge of £50pp, if it is a child aged 3 to 12 there is a charge of £35. This includes their breakfast and bed linen. Children in cots are free but you will need to provide your own bed linen.

  • Can I use my own caterer?

    Only food supplied by Limepark may be served and consumed on the premises; except for your wedding cake for which you are only permitted one.

  • Can I bring my own Wine & Champagne?

    You may bring your own champagne/prosecco for arrival drinks and toasts, and wine for dinner. However, corkage will apply. Limepark does have an exceptional wine list at competitive prices.

  • What are your bar facilities?

    We have a newly renovated bar for guests use in the Main Barn. Drinks reception drinks will be served on the lawn or in the gallery, whichever you prefer. Only alcohol purchased at Limepark is allowed to be consumed, guests are not permitted to bring their own.

  • Do you supply cake stands and cake knife?

    We have a knife made in our very own forge to cut your wedding cake. However, the person supplying your cake will generally provide a cake stand – please confirm this with them.

  • Can you cater for our wedding guests who have special dietary needs?

    Yes, we will cater for any guests with dietary requirements. This is discussed at your wedding planning meeting and finalized 20 working days before your wedding by which time you will have had your RSVP return.

  • Are alcohol favours permitted?

    Unfortunately, alcohol favours ARE NOT permitted at Limepark.
